green toronto awards

in spring 2005, the green toronto awards will honour and celebrate leading companies, organizations and individuals contributing to the greening of the city. the winners will receive a $5000 contribution to the environmental organization of their choice, recognition at an event on may 2 at city hall and profile in the toronto media so others can learn and be inspired by their successes. awards will recognize leaders in community process, green design, resource conservation, youth, environmental awareness and market transformation. nominations close february 25, 2005.
