Post-Christmas

Christmas has come and gone again. Crazy, hectic and fun - all wrapped up in one day!

Here are some highlights of the last few days of my life:

1. Yushchenko won the Ukrainian election!! By 2 Million votes! Just in time for Orthodox Christmas (Jan 6). For the scoop check out...

2. The Life Aquatic opened on Christmas day and it was more than I had hoped it would be! So funny and so visual...You should check out the soundtrack too (that is if you like the Stooges, David Bowie and Devo)

3. Eraserhead on DVD! Thank you, thank you...you know who you are...

4. Harry Potter 6 is coming out on July 16, 2005. You can preorder at chapters.ca and they are offering 40% off...

5. My boyfriend is totally occupied with Call of Duty on PS2 so I have the computer all to myself...

And we all lived through Christmas,

the holidays are a great time to catch up on reading...and the best time to read not-so-serious books. that is not to say that, "the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy" by douglas adams is not thought provoking, but its humour is enough to kill anyone's winter blues.

"the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy" is the first of five complete novels (plus one short story) that follow the story of arthur dent as he journeys through time and space. if you like two-headed ego maniacs and depressed robots, then you will really enjoy this novel.

if you like it so much that you need more, you can read, "the restaurant at the end of the universe", "Life, the Universe and Everything", "So Long, and Thanks for all the Fish", "Young Zaphod Plays it Safe" and then finally, "Mostly Harmless".

I just wanted everyone to see how cute Bailey is. I will also take this oppertunity to say that dogs don't like spending their winters outside. Make sure that your pup has a nice dog house or a spot by the fireplace to keep warm!

In the beginning, there was this blog.
