I have never seen an owl out in the wild. And I'm just dying to see one.
well, we heard it first and it was so loud that it sounded like it was inside the house.
just like the hawks, they come to bob's gigantic tree because it is the tallest one along the ravine. it was making so much noise last night (more like early this morning) that i almost got annoyed, but owls are my favorite!
it's definitely a great horned owl because it's call is pretty distinct and it was brownish with a white collar and white spots along its belly.
they are truly amazing; i felt like i was in harry potter or something.
