the strokes
well, i guess i am not as big of a fan of the strokes as i used to be. i had a feeling they were coming out with a new album, but i wasn't really thinking of it until ryan brought it home. i have to clarify: he hates the strokes and thinks they are pretentious and cocky, but he suffers through the embarassment because he is a nice guy.
i only just started listening to it; the first song to be exact. so far, not so ok. but i'm being too quick.
i'm only upset because julian didn't pick me.

He should have picked you! If he had there would be NO way in Hell that you would have let him get that gay spider tattoo that he now has on his arm.
I downloaded a few songs from the album and I'm not really impressed so far.
damn straight i wouldn't have let him! ha ha
after listening to the whole album though, there are songs i definitely like, and i can see that they are headed back in the right direction.
but the music seems very polished and overproduced - especially considering they are trying to come off as really bad ass.
there is nothing like the first strokes album!
You're right about that. I love the first album from start to finish and I don't give a shit what anyone else thinks about it. You just know they secretly love it too.
it's totally true. maybe ryan just couldn't wait for me to buy the album any longer because he was so excited ha ha.
