and so does the toronto humane society. despite finding homes for 2,299 dogs and cats during july and august the number of abandoned animals continues to overwhelm the shelter.
for example, on tuesday, september 13, 58 cats were abandoned at the front desk - in one day alone.
for this reason, the ths is waiving adoption fees this weekend. if you’ve been considering adopting a pet, please go down to the shelter and give a wonderful animal a loving new home.
Adoption Hours:
Friday, September 16 – 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m
Saturday, September 17 & Sunday, September 18 – 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

It's amazing isn't it?
People will NOT just spade and neuter their animals.
Poor things.
most people think that their animals won't get out, but even the most careful owner can lose their pet.
